Program 3 · The Need

Why this matters.

Mothers in rural Cameroon often lack basic prenatal care, and children under five die from preventable causes. We work with local health workers to bring prevention, education and referral close to home.

  • Mothers lack basic prenatal care
  • Preventable diseases like malaria, diarrhea and pneumonia take young lives
  • Health centers are far away, with poor roads and little transport

Who we serve: Mothers, newborns and children under five.
